Ingredients


  • 2-3 Tbsps.

    oil

  • 1

    onion sliced and quartered

  • 1

    green pepper, diced

  • 1-2 cans

    tuna fish

  • 1 box

    uncooked ziti

  • 1 Lg. can

    plum tomatoes
  • Tabasco sauce, to taste
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2-3 slices Swiss cheese

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a skillet on the stove top, then add onion and pasta.
  • Stir and sauté until golden.
  • Add diced peppers, tuna, and canned tomatoes with their liquid.
  • Add salt, Tabasco, and basil.
  • Bring ingredients to a boil, then lower to a simmer and cook 15 minutes.
  • Turn off the heat, then place Swiss cheese on top and allow to melt 5 minutes, covered.
  • Serve with salad and cottage cheese, and enjoy!
